What are the best Sony headphones for long international flights?

I have a 14-hour flight to Tokyo coming up next month and realized my current earbuds just won't cut it for that long. I’m specifically looking at Sony because I’ve heard their noise canceling is the gold standard, but I’m torn between the newer WH-1000XM5 and the older XM4 model. Since I’ll be wearing them for nearly a full day, comfort is my biggest priority, followed closely by battery life. I've also heard the XM5s don't fold up as compactly, which might be a hassle for my carry-on. For those of you who fly long-haul frequently, which Sony model provides the best balance of silence and long-term comfort?

For your situation, I'd HIGHKEY suggest the Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones. Honestly, the Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones have AMAZING noise cancellation, but they don't fold! Basically, the XM4 is way safer for your carry-on things cuz of the hinges. Plus, the XM4 headband feels more reliable for 14 hours... the XM5 is kinda thin. For long-term comfort and reliability, the XM4 is the standard! gl!

I would suggest the Sony WH-CH720N Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones actually!! they're *literally* so light (192g) which helps for 14 hours... the XM5 is great but these are lighter i think??
