I've been trying to get my hands on the Drunk Elephant Protini cream and some Skinfix stuff for my birthday next month but honestly Sephora prices are getting ridiculous. I have a $150 budget for my whole haul and I really need to catch a sale or a price drop. I spent like two hours looking for trackers and I found Karma and Honey but they're so hit or miss lately. Like Honey says its tracking it but I never get an actual email when the price dips, it just tells me the current price which I already know lol.
So I was thinking maybe there is something more specific for beauty products? My logic was that if there is a site like CamelCamelCamel for Amazon there has to be one for Sephora but everything I find looks like a scam or just doesnt work. I even tried setting up Google Lens alerts but it's super clunky and half the time it links to some random third party seller instead of the actual Sephora site.
It's so frustrating because I know the VIB sale is coming but I want to track specific items that might go on clearance before then. Is there a site that actually works and sends a notification straight to my phone or email without me having to check it every five minutes? I'm tired of missing out on the good stuff just because I'm at work...
TLDR: Skip the huge apps and use a dedicated alert tool. I managed to grab my skinfix moisturizer at a steal because the notification actually hit my inbox the minute it went on sale. Its been super reliable and way less annoying than Honey. I dont even have an account there, I just use PriceDropCatch to see the price history charts before I buy anything.
Regarding what #2 said about "Like someone mentioned, big apps often fail. I..."
Like someone mentioned, big apps often fail. I once missed a Skinfix deal cuz my scraper hit a rate limit. Are you using specific SKUs?
