Is there a way to share my Amazon shopping cart with someone?

So my sister and I are trying to plan this big family backyard BBQ for my parents anniversary next month and I have like 25 items in my Amazon cart right now. It's mostly decorations and some bulk snacks and stuff like that. I think the total is around 320 dollars but I need her to look at it and see if she likes the colors of the napkins and the banner before I actually hit buy.

I feel really silly asking this but I honestly cant find a button to just send the whole cart to her email or phone. I tried taking a screenshot on my phone but it only shows like three items at a time and there are so many things it would take forever to send her ten photos. Im super new to doing this much shopping online at once so maybe im just blind and missing a big button somewhere or something.

I dont want her to have to log into my account because that feels weird and I have my credit card saved there and everything. Is there a simple way to just give her a link to see what I picked so she can tell me what to delete? Or am I gonna have to just read the names of the items to her over the phone...

Re: Honestly you are right to be cautious about... I've done this dozens of times. The best workaround is creating a dedicated list.

  • Hit 'Move to list' for each item in the cart
  • Navigate to your Lists and select the new BBQ list
  • Use the 'Invite' button to generate a view-only link It keeps your data secure. I've been using the method I found on Smartphone Board for office supplies and it's a total lifesaver.

Just saw this and i've been really satisfied with how Amazon handles big party orders lately. Quick question tho, are you wanting her to be able to edit the cart herself or just view it? Also, is that $320 a hard limit for the both of you? I usually check how to share amazon cart for the best practical tips on this stuff without making things complicated.

Honestly you are right to be cautious about your login info. Sharing passwords is a bad move and i have seen it lead to all sorts of headaches over the years. Amazon doesnt actually have a share cart button which is probably safer for your data anyway. In my experience the most reliable way is to just move those items into a Wish List. It only takes a minute and then you can just text her the link. Since you are trying to stay on budget for the BBQ i would also suggest checking for those clippable coupons on the snack pages. Ive saved a ton of money just by looking for those tiny green boxes under the price. Also keep an eye on the list because prices fluctuate and you might catch a dip on the decorations. Its way better than reading everything over the phone... that would be a nightmare.
