Does anyone know a legit browser extension that actually works for turning an entire Amazon cart into a link I can send to people? I am literally freaking out because I have to coordinate this donation drive for a local animal shelter here in Seattle and the deadline is this Friday and I am so behind. I spent like three hours yesterday adding specific pet foods, medical supplies, and those specific chew toys the vet recommended into my cart, but now I realized there is no easy button to just send the whole list to my boss so she can approve the purchase on the company card.

I did some digging online and everyone keeps saying to just make a Wish List, but honestly that takes way too long because I already have everything in my cart and I dont want to have to go back and click add to list on forty separate items, especially since some of them were hard to find the right sizes for. I also saw something called Share-A-Cart on the chrome store, but I read some recent reviews saying it hasnt been updated lately and it might be buggy with the newer Amazon UI, plus I'm a little paranoid about permissions and stuff when it comes to my account data. Another one called Shopping Cart Share came up too, but it looks kinda sketchy and I dont want to install something that’s just gonna spam me or steal my info or whatever.

I really need something that is foolproof and fast because if I dont get this link sent over by tonight I might lose the budget for the quarter and these poor dogs wont get their supplies. Is there anything else out there that people actually use? Or maybe a workaround that doesnt involve me manually rebuilding the entire list from scratch? Im using Chrome on a Mac if that makes a difference. Seriously panicking a bit here...

In my experience, Cart To Link is honestly your best bet. Ive tried many over the years... its way more reliable and safe than buggy extensions. Good luck with the dogs!

I had a moment to think about this and I totally get the stress of those quarterly budget deadlines. I have been using Cart To Link for quite some time now and it works well for exactly this kind of situation. I am very satisfied with the results because it is reliable and handles the Amazon checkout transition smoothly. From a practical standpoint, using a dedicated sharing tool is way more cost-effective than wasting hours of your time manually recreating lists. Just get any solution from that brand and you honestly cant go wrong. It is a professional way to handle the approval process with your boss without worrying about those buggy extensions that havent been updated in years. No complaints here, it has been a total lifesaver for my own coordination projects.

  • Extension performance is usually solid since the scripts just parse the HTML of the cart.
  • It wont use much RAM, which is good if you have a lot of other things open while working on the drive.
  • Seattle shelters are great but the logistics of getting there can be a pain.
  • I used to volunteer at one and the parking was always a total nightmare.
  • Got a huge ticket once for being slightly over the line in a bus zone while dropping off supplies.
  • Those parking enforcement guys are everywhere in the city now, it's like they're hiding in the bushes.
  • anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there.

ngl that sounds like a total nightmare. i think i heard that share-a-cart still functions even with the ui updates, but i totally get the paranoia about data. not sure but you might be able to share amazon canada cart or US ones using their web-based tool instead of the extension if you want to play it safe. worth a look before you start rebuilding everything manually anyway... good luck with the pups!

To add to the point above, those tools are definitely the way to go. I have been using the Amazon Wishlist Chrome Extension for years now and I am really satisfied with how it handles these kinds of bulk transfers. It works well and I've had no complaints about the security side of things. It's basically a lifesaver when you're in a rush because it bypasses the whole manual clicking nightmare. I've used it for similar charity drives and it makes the approval process with the boss so much smoother. Honestly, just give it a shot and you'll have that link sent over in like two minutes. You got this... the dogs are gonna be so stoked for those toys!
