What are some actually good makeup brands that dont cost a fortune like Sephora?

Im so hyped to refresh my look for my cousins wedding next month but my budget is tight. I saw people mention ColourPop and Elf but some reviews say they're patchy on dry skin. Is there anything else that actually lasts?

Unfortunately, most cheap brands arent reliable. Elf failed my dry skin.Milani: hydrating, stableNYX: patchy, drying Milani is the only safer bet.
