honestly fed up with cheap LCD covers at this point, my RX100 VII display is already scratched up after just two weeks of throwing it in my jacket pocket while commuting around Chicago and Im losing my mind over it. i bought some random three-pack off amazon for like eight bucks and the edges started peeling almost immediately and trapped dust underneath which is driving me nuts every time i try to review my shots in bright sunlight. my logic was glass would be better than plastic film but apparently I picked the wrong brand because the touch sensitivity is totally ruined now too. do I need to shell out for the Sony OEM glass or is there actually a good third party one that wont lift at the corners? like what are people actually using that survives being tossed into a backpack daily...

TL;DR: Stop wasting money on cheap film packs and get Sony PCK-LM15 Glass Screen Protector. Man I feel your pain, Chicago winters and jacket pockets brutalize gear. I switched to the official Sony glass after chewing through two cheap third-party packs that peeled instantly. No touch sensitivity issues at all, fits the exact dimensions of the VII screen, and survived getting tossed into my bag daily for over a year. Totally worth the extra few bucks.

@Reply #2 - good point! Honestly though, if you dont want the OEM price tag, there are solid alternatives. I stopped using cheap film ages ago because the adhesive just gives up.

man I totally feel your pain on this. I went through three different brands before finding one that actually stayed stuck on my rx100, cheap glass just doesnt cut it for daily pocket abuse.
