Sony's FX30 cinema camera was released in 2022, and it's been a popular choice among filmmakers and videographers. However, with the rapid pace of technological advancements, many are speculating about the potential release of a successor, the FX30 II. What are your thoughts? Do you think Sony will unveil the FX30 II this year, or will we have to wait a bit longer?

I highly doubt Sony will release the FX30 II this year. The FX30 is still relatively new, and Sony typically updates their camera lineup every 2-3 years. Unless there are major technological breakthroughs or competitive pressure, I don't see them rushing to release a new model so soon. My guess is that we'll have to wait until at least 2024 or 2025 for the FX30 II.

Sony FX30 Mark II will be released in 2025 at the earliest. We will see FX3 Mark II first

I don't have any insider information, but based on Sony's typical product cycles and the current market conditions, I'd say there's a decent chance we'll see the FX30 II announced later this year, likely towards the end of 2023. However, the actual release and availability might not happen until early 2024. As for features, I'm hoping for improved dynamic range, better rolling shutter performance, and maybe even some form of in-body image stabilization. But those are just my personal wishes – Sony might have something entirely different up their sleeve.
