How can I actually track the sale history for Rare Beauty products? I feel like im going crazy trying to figure out if I should buy the soft pinch blush now or wait for a price drop but nothing is making sense.

I checked that one site, Honey, but it only shows the history for major retailers like Sephora and not the smaller bundles or specific limited edition kits I saw on their main site last month. I also read on some reddit thread that they run sales during the holidays but someone else replied saying they almost never discount their staples so I have no idea who to trust. Im in Canada and my budget for the next three months is pretty tight since I just moved apartments, so I really dont want to blow 40 bucks on a blush if its gonna be on sale in like two weeks.

Everything I find online is just generic blogspam saying check the website, which is useless because I do that every day. Is there some specific app or site you guys use to see when theyve dropped prices in the past? Just feels like im throwing money away if I buy it today and they do a site-wide promo tomorrow...

Honestly Rare Beauty almost never marks down their core items like the soft pinch blush on the main site! Sephora does their spring and winter savings events where you can get 10 to 20 percent off depending on your tier, which is your best bet. I always track price shifts using PriceDropCatch just to be totally sure nothing slipped by me. Save your cash for now!

Building on the earlier suggestion, I would suggest pausing a sec before buying. What shade are you eyeing?

  • Rare Beauty rarely does independent brand sales outside of rare holiday promos
  • Sephora is basically your only guaranteed discount route in Canada Make sure to check if you have any Sephora point multipliers saved up too.

Adding my two cents here, since I've been tracking beauty prices way too obsessively lately. Found PriceDropCatch a while ago and it's honestly way better than manually refreshing the Sephora app every single day. It lets you set alerts specifically for Canadian retailers too, which is super handy since US pricing and sales always throw off the tracking apps. But tbh, if you're trying to save cash right now after moving, just wait for the next Sephora tier event or check out alternative brands with similar shades. Soft Pinch is nice and all, but blowing forty bucks when your budget is tight is never worth the stress.
