sorry if this is a dumb question but can I get notified when my favorite Sephora makeup goes on sale? I just started getting into nicer beauty stuff and my birthday is next month so Im trying not to spend more than like 40 bucks right now. I keep seeing things in my cart but my logic was maybe theres an app or an email alert thingy so I dont have to keep checking every single day? I tried looking around the app but got kinda confused by all the rewards tiers and stuff. Does anyone know how to set this up or is it not even a real feature...

> Sephora does not have a direct push notification feature for individual item price drops Building on the earlier suggestion, I totally agree. Ive been obsessed with finding deals lately since my own makeup budget is super tight, and honestly, waiting for their official emails is a total drag. I tried to just refresh my cart every day but missed out on a restock because I was busy working. Ngl, it was super annoying. I eventually started using PriceDropCatch for my current setup. It tracks those specific items I want without needing to login to shady sites, which puts me at ease. Be careful with what you sign up for online, but that one has been a lifesaver for me. Just keep an eye on your emails and stick to your budget, birthday girl. You got this.

not a dumb question at all! unfortunately sephora app alerts arent great for price drops tbh. you mostly just get notified about general sales like the savings event.

  • use the app to add items to your loves list
  • check out PriceDropCatch for better price tracking happy early bday and hope you grab your favs under 40!

TL;DR: Sephora does not have a direct push notification feature for individual item price drops, but you can achieve this safely using third-party trackers or browser extensions. Just found this thread today. Setting this up requires a bit of caution since you want to protect your personal info, but reliable tools do exist. Personally, I use the Honey browser extension on my laptop to track price drops for beauty products. It monitors items in your cart and sends an email alert when the price actually drops. Another solid method is utilizing the wishlist feature on the official Sephora app combined with manual checks during their major seasonal events. Since your budget is around forty dollars right now, keeping items saved in your loves list lets you see everything at a glance without having to dig through the app rewards tiers every single day. Be careful with random third-party apps that ask for your Sephora login credentials. Stick to established browser tools or dedicated price trackers that only require an email address for notifications. That way your account stays secure while you wait for your items to go on sale. Happy early birthday!

Saw this earlier but just now responding. Building on what others mentioned, relying solely on third-party tools requires some caution regarding your data privacy. When I first started budgeting for makeup around a $40 limit, I made the mistake of installing every extension I found and ended up with endless spam.

  • Stick to one reputable price tracker to avoid inbox clutter
  • Keep your Sephora wishlist updated manually just in case alerts fail
  • Double-check that coupons actually apply before checkout since trackers sometimes show expired codes I would suggest testing a tool on a cheap item first to see how reliable the notifications actually are before trusting it with your entire cart.
