Im so stoked right now bc I just stumbled on a super rare vintage Nintendo 64 game at a local yard sale in Ohio for only fifteen bucks! Ive been staring at it for an hour and I really wanna flip it on eBay to make some quick cash this weekend. I spent the last twenty minutes googling and saw people recommending tools like 130point and CamelCamelCamel, but 130point seems to only show past sales without letting me easily track trends over months, and Camel is mostly for Amazon anyway. Are there any actual free price history tools out there specifically for eBay so I dont accidentally price this thing way too low?

Nice find on the N64 game! Be careful with just looking at raw sold listings tho, since shipping costs and best offer acceptances can really skew the actual data. I usually export CSV data via Terapeak when I need the deep analytics, but for a quick check make sure you filter specifically for completed vs sold items so you dont price way too low.

To add to the point above: I honestly struggle with the exact same data gaps every single time I try selling retro gear. Watch out for fake sold comps too.

Are there any actual free price history tools out there specifically for eBay so I dont accidentally price this thing way too low? For vintage video games specifically, relying solely on generic eBay search filters can be misleading because condition and box variants matter so much. You actually don't need a paid subscription to get accurate historical data. My go-to method for evaluating retro items without spending money is using the native eBay app filter system combined with a specialized database. First, search your exact N64 game on eBay, filter by Completed Items and Sold Items, and look at the actual green sale prices from the last ninety days. This gives you baseline transactional evidence. However, if you want actual trend analysis over months or years without paying for premium tools like Terapeak, PriceCharting is the most reliable free resource for collectibles and retro games. It aggregates historical eBay sales data specifically for gaming items and displays a clean chart showing price trajectories over long periods. You can easily see what loose, complete in box, and brand-new copies have actually commanded historically. Just make sure you match the exact edition and region code before listing. Good luck with the flip!
