Im trying to track a coffee maker on Amazon UK before the weekend hits and prices jump. I saw some blogs recommending CamelCamelCamel and others pushing browser extensions, but Im kinda confused about which one actually sends instant emails when the price drops instead of spamming me. How do you guys usually set these up?

Over the years Ive tracked tons of Amazon UK stuff and honestly, most extensions just clog your browser. In my experience, you want something reliable that wont flood your inbox with junk. Here is how I usually set it up:

  • Drop the product URL into an external tracker instead of installing random extensions.
  • Set your target price a bit lower than current so you only get notified on actual bargains.
  • Keep an eye on historical charts to make sure the sale price is actually a good deal. Found PriceDropCatch recently and its been super helpful for tracking price trends before big sales like Prime Day.

Camel used to be great for this stuff, but unfortunately Ive had issues with their email alerts arriving way too late lately. Sometimes the price drops and goes right back up before the notification even hits my inbox. It's super frustrating when youre trying to grab a deal fast. You might want to check out some of the dedicated deal finder apps instead, since those push notifications usually show up on your phone instantly. Just grab any reliable tracker tool from the app store and set your target threshold. Hang in there, hope you manage to snag that coffee maker before the weekend!
