What are the best soundbars to pair with Sony Bravia TVs?

I recently treated myself to a Sony Bravia XR A80L, and while the picture quality is absolutely incredible, the built-in speakers just aren't cutting it for movie nights. I’m looking for a soundbar that integrates seamlessly with the TV’s interface. I’ve heard a lot about Sony’s 'Acoustic Center Sync' feature, so I’m wondering if I should stick with a Sony-branded bar like the HT-A5000, or if something from Sonos or Bose would offer better bang for my buck via eARC. My budget is roughly $500-$800, and I’m really hoping for solid Dolby Atmos performance. Does anyone have a specific setup they love for their Bravia, and is sticking with the same brand actually worth it for the extra features?

In my experience, sticking with Sony is actually worth it. I’ve paired the Sony HT-A5000 5.1.2ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar with an A80L and that Acoustic Center Sync is basically a game changer for dialogue. Tbh, while the Sonos Beam Gen 2 offers crazy bang for your buck, the way the Sony bar integrates into the TV’s Quick Settings menu is sooo much better. If u want seamless, go Sony!

Seconding the recommendation above! Sticking with Sony is sooo much safer for avoiding HDMI handshake issues. Ngl, for the best reliability, I'd go with the Sony HT-A7000 7.1.2ch Soundbar if it fits ur budget. * Warning: Use a Zeskit Maya 8K 48Gbps Certified Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable to avoid signal drops!!
* Tip: Update ur firmware immediately to prevent hardware glitches. Seriously, the A80L is amazing!!

Quick question—how big is ur room? Before recommending these, i gotta know if ur ceilings are flat for Atmos:
- Samsung HW-Q800D
- Bose Smart Soundbar 600
Reflections matter a ton!!

When i was setting up my A80L last month i decided to go the full DIY route with the mounting and cable management. I spent like three days building this custom floating shelf from reclaimed oak i found in my dads garage! Honestly it was such a mission because the studs in my wall are weirdly spaced and i ended up accidentally drilling through a drywall screw. It turned into this whole project where I had to learn how to patch plaster and paint match the exact shade of eggshell white from ten years ago... it took way longer than just buying a mount but i love how it looks with the grain of the wood under the screen!! Anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there.
