Which Sony headphones are the best for riding the train and bus every day because I am so confused by all the weird names they have like WH-1000 something? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have no idea where to start and I'm kind of in a rush because my cheap pair broke today and I have a long trip coming up next Wednesday. I live in London and the Tube is just so incredibly loud that I can barely hear my podcasts unless I crank the volume way up which I know is bad for my ears.

I keep seeing people mention the XM4 and the XM5 but they look almost the same to me except for the price tag. Is the more expensive one really worth it for a normal person who isnt an expert? My budget is around 250-300 pounds and that is a massive investment for me so I really dont want to pick the wrong one. Also I wear glasses and some headphones really hurt my ears after like twenty minutes so if anyone knows which ones are softer that would be great. I just want something that will actually block out the screeching train sounds and the people talking loudly on their phones... it's driving me crazy honestly.

I'd suggest the Sony WH-1000XM4 Noise Cancelling Headphones. Be careful with the newer ones; I've found the older folding design much safer when I'm rushing through the Tube gates every morning.

> Is the more expensive one really worth it I geeked out on specs and the Sony WH-CH720N Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones weigh only 192g! Same V1 chip tech and saved me a fortune. Love mine!
