My old headset literally just snapped in half today and I have a huge Warzone session planned for this weekend so I need a replacement like right now. I am upgrading to the PS5 Pro soon too so I want something that handles the 3D audio perfectly. Right now I am stuck between the Pulse Elite because it is first party and the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P which everyone keeps talking about for comfort. The Maxwells look amazing but I really cant go over $200 right now with the Pro coming out. Does the Elite actually sound better with that new Link tech or should I just go for the 7Ps? I gotta order tonight to get it here by Friday...
In my experience, the Sony PlayStation Pulse Elite Wireless Headset is the move. Those planar magnetic drivers provide way better detail for 3D audio than the SteelSeries.
Building on the earlier suggestion, the Elite sounds great but Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3 Wireless for PlayStation is amazing value and the battery life is actually insane for the price!
Just caught this thread. I had a similar issue where my old headband snapped during a match, so I specifically looked for something sturdier. I ended up with the HyperX Cloud III Wireless Gaming Headset mostly for the aluminum frame. It handles the PS5 3D audio reliably enough and the $170 price tag is fair. Its a solid, no-nonsense choice that actually lasts.
