What are the best compact tripods for Sony RX100 cameras?

So I finally pulled the trigger on a Sony RX100 VII because I wanted something that fits in my jacket pocket for my trip to Tokyo next month but now I'm hitting a wall with tripods. The whole point of this camera is to be small so I really don't want to carry around some massive thing that defeats the purpose of a point and shoot. I've been looking at a few things online and I'm honestly just more confused now lol.

I keep seeing the Manfrotto Pixi come up in every single top ten list and while it looks sleek I'm worried it's just too short? Like if I'm trying to get a shot over a railing or something it feels like it won't give me any height at all and I'll just be stuck taking photos of the ground. Then there is the Joby GorillaPod 1K which seems like the obvious choice because you can wrap it on things but I've read so many reviews saying the legs get loose after a few months and the camera starts drooping. I really dont want my camera face-planting onto the pavement because a plastic ball joint gave out while I'm doing a long exposure.

My logic was that I could find something that is basically pocketable but maybe has some telescoping legs. I saw the Ulanzi MT-08 too and it looks okay but it feels a bit cheap in the videos I've watched and I'm worried it'll shake if there is even a tiny bit of wind. I have about $100 to spend on this and I'm really looking for something that can handle 20-30 second exposures without any blur. I'm gonna be doing a lot of cityscapes at night so stability is a huge deal.

Should I just stick with a tiny table-top one and hope for the best or is there some middle ground I'm missing? I looked at the Peak Design travel tripod too but that's way too expensive and honestly way too big for such a tiny camera. Just need something reliable that wont take up half my bag space...

Adding my two cents here, but seriously, you gotta check out the Leofoto MT-03 + LH-25 Tabletop Tripod Kit. That exact setup went with me to the Shibuya Sky building last year and it was a total lifesaver! Unlike those plastic Jobys that eventually sag, this is CNC-machined aluminum so it feels like a tank. The legs have these crazy folding sections that let you hook it onto fences or uneven rocks. Crisp 30-second exposures of the Tokyo skyline were easy even when it was getting windy up there. It only weighs about 340g but the stability is miles ahead of anything else under a hundred bucks. You get those tiny extendable legs for extra height without the bulk of a full travel tripod. Plus, the 5kg load capacity is totally overkill for an RX100 but thats why it doesnt shake like those cheap plastic ones, ngl!

Saw this earlier and ngl, I've been down this exact rabbit hole way too many times. Tokyo is amazing for night shots but those observation decks get breezy, so you need actual stability. Quick question tho—are you mostly gonna be propping this on railings and cafe tables, or do you actually need something that can stand on the ground? In my experience, plastic just doesnt cut it for 30-second exposures. Here is what I've used over the years that actually works:
