Make sure you dont skimp on the HDMI cable. I once had a cheap one flicker during a vows exchange and it was pure stress. For weddings, I would suggest being careful with the monitor choice if you're shooting outdoors.

Congrats on the FX30! Honestly, save your money and your back. I've done the heavy rig thing at weddings and by the reception you'll be hating life. You don't really need the Ninja V recording features since the FX30 does 10-bit internally anyway. Heres what I'd grab to stay under that $700 cap:

• SmallRig is basically the standard. Its affordable and the fit is perfect.
• Portkeys PT6 5.2-Inch 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor
• Its light and has great tools for the price.
• SmallRig Swivel and Tilt Monitor Mount 2903B
• Get a good mount or itll just flop around. Stick with the Portkeys... the Ninja is a total battery hog and adds way too much weight for a 10-hour day. Use the leftover cash for extra Sony NP-FZ100 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery packs instead. You're gonna need those way more than ProRes RAW.

Watch your cable tension during the ceremony, those ports are fragile. Maybe consider:

• Any Portkeys Monitor Just keep it light so you dont get exhausted halfway through.
