What is the best browser extension for tracking Amazon price drops?

I seriously need to find a solid price tracker like right now because I'm trying to grab that Sony a7 IV before my sisters wedding next month and I've been watching the price bounce around like crazy on Amazon. My budget is super capped at $2100 for the body and lens kit and it keeps hitting $2499 then dropping for like an hour and I keep missing it every single time. I've done some digging and everyone says CamelCamelCamel is the king but honestly the interface looks like it hasn't been updated since 2005 and I'm worried the alerts aren't fast enough?

Like my logic was that if it only checks every few hours I'm gonna miss those flash sales again and I really cant afford to pay full price. Then I looked at Keepa and it seems way more detailed with the graphs and everything but then I saw some people saying the best features are behind a subscription now? Is that true? I really don't want to pay a monthly fee just to save money on one purchase lol that kinda defeats the whole purpose.

I also saw something about Honey having a droplist feature but I mostly use that for coupons and I'm not sure if it's actually reliable for real-time price tracking on high-ticket electronics like cameras. I'm stuck in this loop where I'm checking the page every twenty minutes myself which is making me insane and I just need something that will actually ping my desktop or phone the second it hits my target price. Is there anything else out there that I'm missing or maybe one of these is actually better than I think and I'm just overthinking the lag time? I really need to get this ordered by Friday so I have time to practice with it before the big day. Does anyone know which one actually has the fastest refresh rate for price drops?

Keepa is hands down the winner here! Seriously, dont even look at the others if you need speed. Even the free version sends email alerts that are way faster than Camel. I used it to snag my kit last year and it was a total lifesaver. Just set your target to 2100 and stay ready! Youre gonna love the a7 IV, its such an amazing camera!

> I'm worried the alerts aren't fast enough? ^ This. Also, I’ve been through the ringer with these things over the years trying to catch deals on gear. In my experience, everyone gets obsessed with the millisecond refresh rates, but reliability is where it's really at. You want something that wont fail to ping you just because your browser decided to sleep a tab or something. Honestly, if you just go with a reputable Amazon price tracker, you'll be fine. Most of the top-tier ones use similar data scraping anyway. I've found that the big names in the extension store are usually the safest bet because they have the most eyes on their security practices. Being naturally cautious about what I install means sticking to the most popular options is a good rule of thumb. Just get any tracker from a major developer and you'll see the graphs you need without overthinking the lag. The trick is to set your alert slightly above your max budget. If you wait for it to hit exactly your target, you might miss the window while the notification is traveling through the internet. If you set it for maybe twenty bucks more, you get that extra minute to react. I've done this for every big purchase lately and it really takes the stress out of it. Definitely better than refreshing the page manually like a crazy person... we've all been there tho lol. It's a total lifesaver when you're on a deadline like a wedding. Just make sure the desktop notifications are toggled on.
