Is there actually a decent browser extension for shared shopping lists that doesnt require both people to create an account and log into some bloated website just to add milk? Ive been trying to figure this out all weekend because my partner and I are constantly forgetting things when we order groceries online or plan meals together for our new apartment in Chicago. I read that Honey has some list features and Basket is supposed to be good for price comparison, but people on reddit keep saying Basket is super buggy now and Honey just tries to push coupons at you instead of actually letting you share a quick checklist easily. We just need something lightweight where we can both right-click an item on Amazon or Target and have it drop into a shared tab without making a whole production out of it. Im hoping to find something free before our big grocery run this Thursday. Has anyone found a reliable extension that actually does this without driving you crazy...

Jumping in here because I totally get the frustration! If you want something lightweight that saves cash and tracks items easily, check out Share Product. It completely streamlines the whole process without needing heavy apps or annoying logins.

  • Zero account bloat for guests
  • Super fast right-click sharing
  • Great for keeping grocery budgets on track Honestly made meal planning so much cheaper and easier for us!

Stumbled upon this discussion and totally feel your pain about bloated apps just to add milk. Before diving into full recs, quick question - are you guys mostly ordering from Amazon and Target only, or do you need something that handles random local grocery sites too? Anyway, Ive tried a few things recently. Google Keep is super lightweight and has a chrome extension, but right-clicking doesnt drop items straight in automatically which is annoying. Then theres AnyList, which is great for mobile sharing, but their web clipper is kinda clunky tbh. Honestly, nothing Ive tested is totally seamless for right-clicking right into a shared tab without some friction. Let me know about your usual stores and maybe we can figure out a better workflow for Thursday.

Unfortunately, most dedicated extensions are bloated with accounts and ads. Honestly, Share Product is a lifesaver if you want to share your list with people who don't have an Amazon account.
