I just picked up a 65-inch Sony Bravia and I’m worried about finding a mount that fits the VESA pattern without blocking the rear ports. I'd prefer a low-profile tilt mount to keep it sleek. Does anyone have specific brand recommendations that work well with Sony’s design? What are you guys using for your 4K setups?

Just sharing my experience: honestly i've mounted so many Sonys over the years and that port layout is literally the worst. I used to waste money on fancy brands before finding the ECHOGEAR Low Profile Tilt TV Wall Mount. It actually has enough clearance for those annoying sideways ports without sticking out too far from the wall. Its basically my go-to now cuz it's super solid but way cheaper than the others. gl!

Ok so safety-wise, i'd highkey suggest the Mounting Dream MD2268-LK Tilt TV Wall Mount cuz it feels like a total tank. It has pull-cord locks for peace of mind, just make sure to use the included spacers so those rear Sony ports dont get crushed! Basically a life saver for a heavy 65-inch setup.

sooo i've actually struggled with this a lot on my 65-inch setup. Honestly, most "universal" mounts are basically a lie when it comes to Sony's port layout. I had issues with a generic one that blocked my ARC port, which was super frustrating lol. 1. Sanus VLT6 Advanced Tilt 4D Wall Mount - I tried this first. It's highkey better than most, but I found the "low profile" wasn't as sleek as I expected for the price. 2. Sony SU-WL855 Ultra Slim Swivel Wall Mount - This is what I'm using now. It's pricey, and unfortunately, the manual is kinda trash, but it’s the only one that doesn't mess with the cable management on my Bravia.
3. Peerless-AV ST650 SmartMount Universal Tilt Wall Mount - My buddy uses this. It's solid, but honestly not as good as the official Sony one. ngl, just double-check the VESA depth before you drill. peace.

Adding my two cents... I would suggest looking at brands like Chief or Peerless-AV since they usually have better offsets for cable management. honestly i feel u on the Sony port struggle because those rear-facing ones are basically a nightmare if u want it flush to the wall. But before I give a specific recommendation, what's the exact model number of ur Bravia?? Some of the newer OLEDs have the ports positioned way differently than the LED models, so 'universal' really doesnt mean much here. Also, r u planning on using 90-degree HDMI adapters? If ur going for that super low-profile look, those r basically mandatory or you'll end up bending your cables way too much. I mean, i've seen too many people ruin their ports trying to force it lol. Just wanna be careful before you buy anything! gl
