Im flying to Tokyo next month and im terrified of the engine noise for 14 hours. I have no idea where to start with all these Sony numbers like XM4 or XM5 and it makes me really anxious. I have $350 saved up. Which one is best for just making everything quiet? Sorry if this is a dumb question...

- Get the Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones
- They fold way smaller than newer models
- QN1 chip handles engine drone perfectly, no complaints with the silence... works well.

^ This. Also, do you wear glasses or plan on sleeping on your side? I would suggest being careful with bulky headphones for a 14 hour haul and maybe consider the Sony WF-1000XM5 Noise Canceling Earbuds instead.
- Earbuds wont interfere with your travel pillow or glasses seal
- These use the Integrated Processor V2 for better mid-range cancellation Make sure you test the ear tip fit for a long session before your flight so they dont itch.
