So I just got the new PS5 Pro and I really want to get into the better sound stuff but I am totally lost. I was looking at those wireless headsets at the store today and honestly I got so overwhelmed by all the options. My logic was that the Sony ones would be best because they make the console but then I read online that some other brands might be better for the price? I live in a tiny studio apartment and my neighbor is always loud so I need something that blocks out noise well. I have about $160 to spend total but I have no idea if I need a special plug or how they even connect. What are people actually using that isnt too complicated for a beginner...

Honestly sticking with the first-party stuff like the Sony Pulse Elite Wireless Headset is usually the safest path for beginners because it integrates directly with the console. You might want to consider the fit tho because the ear cups are a bit shallow and might not isolate your neighbors noise as well as you need. For better physical noise blocking I would suggest looking at the <a href=" https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt= SteelSeries+Arctis+Nova+7P+Wireless+Headset&BI=8941&KBID=10361&SID=12345&DFF=d50" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P Wireless Headset. Be careful with the setup though because while it is mostly plug-and-play you have to use the included usb-c dongle in the front port. Make sure to keep that dongle safe since the ps5 wont let you connect via standard bluetooth. It is a very methodical setup that avoids any software headaches which basically sounds like exactly what you need for a studio apartment setup.

> "I live in a tiny studio apartment and my neighbor is always loud" Quick reply while I have a sec. Do you wear glasses? That affects the seal against the noise.

Just saw this. Try the HyperX Cloud III Wireless 2.4GHz. It uses a USB dongle and has thick leatherette pads that block noise well. Very reliable build and simple to use.
