I've finally upgraded to the PS5 Pro, but my setup is looking a bit messy with USB-C cables trailing everywhere. I'm looking for a reliable charging dock that can handle two controllers at once—ideally both the standard DualSense and the Edge. I've looked at the official Sony station, but I'm curious if third-party options from brands like Razer or PowerA offer better stability or faster charging speeds. I'm really after a 'click-in' design so I'm not constantly fiddling to make sure the pins are actually aligned. Does anyone have a favorite dock that looks sleek and won't overcharge the batteries? What would you recommend for a clean, efficient setup?

For your situation, basically the best docks use the bottom EXT pins instead of USB-C to avoid port wear and guarantee that "click-in" feel. I highkey recommend the HyperX ChargePlay Duo for PS5 because it's weighted and super stable for the Edge! If u want something more compact, the NexiGo D90 PS5 Charging Dock is also amazing. Both include smart circuitry to prevent overcharging. Seriously a game changer!

yo, I totally feel u on the cable mess!! upgrading to the Pro is amazing but those trailing wires are literally the worst. i mean, i wanted a clean setup too but didnt wanna spend a fortune on the official stuff. i found that third-party docks are actually GREAT for the price. Here's what I recommend: 1. PowerA Twin Charging Station for PlayStation 5 - honestly this is my favorite. it's usually around $25 and has that EXACT click-in feel u want. it fits my Edge and standard DualSense perfectly without any fiddling.
2. OIVO PS5 Controller Charging Station with 2-Hour Fast Charging - if u really wanna save cash, this one is like $18. it’s super compact and the LED indicators are lowkey helpful for knowing when ur good to go. tbh i’d go with the PowerA one. it feels more solid and doesnt overcharge. gl with the setup!

Honestly, being a bit of a DIY enthusiast myself, I usually prefer building my own custom mounting solutions, but when it involves the circuitry of an expensive PS5 Pro, I get pretty cautious. Tbh, the best self-service move u can make for a clean look isnt just the dock, it is how u power it. I highly recommend avoiding the USB ports on the console entirely to save them from wear and tear. Instead, I wired a dedicated power strip under my desk and used a high-quality 5V wall adapter. If ur looking for hardware that fits that professional aesthetic and is super stable for the Edge, I suggest:

  • Razer Quick Charging Stand for PS5
  • Rocketfish Dual Controller Charging Station for PS5 Basically, if u want to go the DIY route for a clean setup, look into under-desk mounting brackets for these docks. It keeps the controllers hidden but accessible. Just make sure whatever dock u pick uses the bottom EXT pins, as those are way more durable for long-term use than the top USB-C port. I have seen way too many ports get loose from people being rough with plug-in chargers... definitely better to be safe than sorry with ur gear!
