Hey everyone! I’m still rocking my PS4 Pro, but using basic wired earbuds makes me feel like I’m missing out on the full experience. I’m looking to upgrade to a top-rated wireless headset that delivers truly immersive, high-quality audio for cinematic games like God of War. Comfort is a huge deal for me since I usually play for 3-4 hours at a time, and I’d prefer something with solid battery life so I don't have to recharge mid-session. I’m curious which models still offer the best surround sound features specifically for the Pro's hardware. Does anyone have a wireless recommendation that really brings the game world to life?

yo, i totally get it... rocking basic buds on a Pro is basically like driving a ferrari with bike tires lol. I've spent way too much time testing these, and here's what actually worked for me on a budget: 1. Sony PlayStation Gold Wireless Headset - i've used this for years and it's honestly the best for native 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound. You can find them around $70-$80. The 40mm drivers deliver pretty crisp audio for games like God of War.
2. SteelSeries+Arctis+1+Wireless+for+PlayStation&linkCode=osi&tag=5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless for PlayStation - this is highkey the best value at $99. It uses a lossless 2.4GHz connection so there's zero lag, plus the 20-hour battery is solid for long grinds.
3. HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless for PlayStation - pretty cheap at $75 and super light so it wont hurt your head after 4 hours... seriously comfortable. gl with the hunt... peace!

sooo here's what I recommend if you're on a budget but want that cinematic feel on the Pro: 1. Razer Barracuda X (2022): Decent option with 50-hour battery and TriForce 40mm drivers. Usually $99.
2. Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 Wireless for PlayStation: It works well for spatial audio, around $80. honestly the Razer is super light for long sessions. it depends on your needs but check for sales... gl!

yo, i’ve been thinking about your question because the PS4 Pro is still a beast, but it’s realy picky with wireless audio compared to the newer consoles. If you want that cinematic "oomph" for God of War, you gotta move past basic buds and look at 2.4GHz lossless tech. Bluetooth just wont cut it for latency. Here’s what I recommend for technical performance and comfort: * SteelSeries+Arctis+Nova+7P+Wireless&linkCode=osi&tag=5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P Wireless: This is probably the best all-rounder. It uses High Fidelity Drivers that give a super clean frequency response. The battery life is insane (around 38 hours), so you definitely wont have to recharge mid-session. It uses a USB-C dongle that works perfectly with the Pro’s ports.
* HyperX Cloud II Wireless: If comfort is your #1 priority, these are it. The memory foam is legendary for 4-hour grinds. It has 53mm drivers which are larger than most, providing a much wider soundstage for that immersive feel you’re looking for. Basically, the Arctis has better EQ customization tho, which is nice if you want to tweak the bass for those heavy combat hits. Both options use a dedicated wireless transmitter, which is way more stable than standard bluetooth. Honestly, once you hear the spatial separation on a high-end set, those old earbuds are gonna feel like ancient history. good luck with the upgrade!
