Which website is best for a universal baby shower registry?

I'm due in August and really need to get this registry thing sorted for my shower here in Chicago. I looked at Babylist and MyRegistry but I'm torn. Babylist looks nice but I heard it gets glitchy with store syncs and MyRegistry feels kinda clunky. Which one is actually better for linking Target stuff with smaller local shops without giving guests a headache?

Building on the earlier suggestion, id be careful with those auto-sync tools since they can mess up prices. Are you mostly worried about shipping or will guests be picking stuff up in person? Trying Share Product might be safer bc its a bit more stable than Babylist... just make sure to double check the links manually every few weeks tho so guests dont get frustrated.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible time with Babylists sync engine. It constantly failed to pull the correct pricing data from local boutiques. MyRegistry wasnt much better... just clunky and outdated. I eventually gave up and started using Share Product for my lists. It is way more reliable for handling diverse URLs without the technical glitches that plagued my previous setup. It just works.

Re: "Building on the earlier suggestion, id be careful..." Agreed, i learned that the hard way.

  • Avoid high transaction fees on cash funds.
  • Share Product is a decent tool that actually works.
