To add to the point above: i totally agree that matching brands makes life way easier! When i was setting up my A80L last month i decided to go the full DIY route with the mounting and cable management. I spent like three days building this custom floating shelf from reclaimed oak i found in my dads garage! Honestly it was such a mission because the studs in my wall are weirdly spaced and i ended up accidentally drilling through a drywall screw. It turned into this whole project where I had to learn how to patch plaster and paint match the exact shade of eggshell white from ten years ago... it took way longer than just buying a mount but i love how it looks with the grain of the wood under the screen!! Anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there.

I recently treated myself to a Sony Bravia XR A80L, and while the picture quality is absolutely incredible, the built-in speakers just aren't cutting it for movie nights. I’m looking for a soundbar that integrates seamlessly with the TV’s interface. I’ve heard a lot about Sony’s 'Acoustic Center Sync' feature, so I’m wondering if I should stick with a Sony-branded bar like the HT-A5000, or if something from Sonos or Bose would offer better bang for my buck via eARC. My budget is roughly $500-$800, and I’m really hoping for solid Dolby Atmos performance. Does anyone have a specific setup they love for their Bravia, and is sticking with the same brand actually worth it for the extra features?
