I recently picked up a 65-inch Sony Bravia, and while the picture is stunning, the built-in speakers are lacking punch. I’m looking for a soundbar that supports eARC and integrates perfectly with Bravia Sync. My budget is around $600. Should I stick with Sony for better compatibility, or are there better third-party options?
For your situation, I'd suggest staying with Sony because eARC handshakes can be a mess with other brands. Basically, Bravia Sync works way better within the same ecosystem. To get that punch ur after, the Sony HT-G700 3.1ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer is reallyyy good for about $499. It handles 3.1ch audio and Vertical Surround Engine flawlessly. Honestly, sticking with Sony is the best budget-friendly move. cheers!
Quick question - what's your room layout like? I've been a tech veteran for years and unfortunately, had issues with non-Sony bars losing the eARC connection... * Sony HT-S2000 3.1ch Home Theater Soundbar: Flawless integration, but might lack that low-end punch.
* Sonos Beam Gen 2: Killer soundstage, but setup is definately more complex. I mean, sticking to Sony is usually safer for compatibility, right? Lmk!

100% agree
> Should I stick with Sony for better compatibility? Respectfully, the Vizio M-Series M512a-H6 5.1.2 Channel Soundbar ($450) is a better deal. It has eARC and hits harder than Sony or the Samsung HW-Q600C, tbh.
