Honestly, the XM6 isnt even out yet and rumors are just guesses at this point. I wouldnt hold my breath for a Prime Day deal on a product that doesnt exist. Since you are on a $300 budget for that Chicago commute, you should focus on what actually works right now. I have been through plenty of these and you gotta be careful with the newer designs.

Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Canceling Over-the-Ear Headphones

These have the best noise cancelling for trains, but they dont fold up small which is a pain for commuting.

My personal recommendation. They fold flat, the ANC is almost as good as the M5, and they will definitely be under $250 next week. Make sure to check the hinges on the M5 before buying tho... they feel a bit flimsier than the older M4 model. I would suggest going with the M4 and saving the extra cash.

so prime day is coming up next week and im literally so stressed about which headphones to get. i keep seeing people talk about the sony wh-1000xm6 but then i look on amazon and i only see the m5? is the m6 even out yet?? sorry if this is a dumb question but i have no idea where to start and i really need some good noise cancelling for my train commute in chicago because its so loud. my budget is like $300 max.

must be really quiet

comfortable for long trips

easy to use with my phone

do you think the m6 will have a deal or should i just get the m5 or something else? im so lost lol...
