I am so hyped right now because I finally saved up enough for my rtx 4070 super build! I want to get it done by mid-november so i can play the new games during my break. My budget is exactly 600 bucks though and prices are jumping around like crazy on every site. I did some digging online and saw people mentioning CamelCamelCamel and Honey but it seems like those are mostly just for amazon or they dont update fast enough for limited stock deals. Like, I read that Keepa is the gold standard but when I tried looking at the interface it felt super complicated and I'm not even sure it works for Newegg or Best Buy?

So my logic was that the retailer's own watch or notify me buttons would be the fastest way to know but then I saw a thread saying those are basically just marketing traps to get u on an email list and they dont actually send the price drop alerts until the item is already sold out... which is so frustrating if true. Ive been manually refreshing tabs like a maniac every hour but there has to be a better way to get a ping on my phone the second the price hits my target. Is there an app that actually does real-time pings for specific URLs or am I stuck just clicking refresh forever? I really dont want to miss a flash sale while I'm at work or something...

so i recently started trying to actually learn how to do my makeup because my cousins wedding is coming up in october and i realized i have basically nothing in my bag besides an old mascara and some lip gloss from high school... i went into a store the other day and honestly i almost walked right back out because i had no idea it was all so expensive. like why is one tiny bottle of foundation forty dollars?? i really want to get some nice things to try out but my budget is pretty tight since i am still in school and i can really only spend maybe 80 or 100 dollars total for a whole look.

im super new to all of this so sorry if this is a really basic question but i keep seeing girls on tiktok talking about how they never pay full price for high end brands and they mention things like deal alerts or stacking coupons and i am just sitting here so confused lol. i tried to find some of these deals myself by just googling stuff but i ended up on these weird websites that looked like they were gonna give my laptop a virus or something. i dont really know which sites are actually real and which ones are just fake ads.

im just looking for something easy and safe that a beginner could use to save some money. maybe like an app that pings your phone when sephora or ulta has a big sale? or somewhere that actually lists real coupons that work? i dont want to spend hours hunting things down i just want to know when the prices drop so i can grab what i need before the wedding. i live in a pretty small town so i mostly have to shop online anyway because our local stores dont carry the good brands.

are there specific apps that are actually legit for this?

do people use like certain groups or something else to find the secret codes?

is there a way to get alerts for specific brands like elf or mac?

i really have no idea where to even start looking so i would love some help finding some reliable ways to track these sales without getting scammed...

I am so sick of manually refreshing my browser every single hour just to see if this one seller finally budged on the price. Honestly im fed up with eBay making this so difficult like why is there no obvious button for this?? Im trying to snag the UCS Millennium Falcon for my sons 10th birthday next month and my budget is strictly 650 max but everyone has them listed for like 800 or more right now. My logic was that if I added it to my watchlist I would get a notification the second the price changed but nope i just get random spam emails about similar items I dont even want. So I was thinking maybe there is some hidden setting in the communication preferences? I spent like twenty minutes digging through the menus and I just ended up more confused than when I started. Is there a third party app that actually works or maybe a chrome extension people use? I really need to get this sorted before the end of the week so I can actually get it shipped in time. I keep hearing people say they got alerts for price drops but im sitting here staring at a screen like a crazy person. How do people actually automate this without losing their minds...

Seriously, are there any bias lighting kits that are actually recommended for Sony TVs specifically, because I am honestly about to lose my mind over this. I just bought an X90L about two months ago for my basement setup in Ohio and I love the picture quality but trying to get a simple LED strip to behave is making me regret the whole thing. I've tried two different cheap sets from Amazon now and both of them have the same infuriating issue where the lights just... stay on? Or they turn off for a minute then suddenly my living room is glowing at 2 AM because the Sony USB ports keep waking up to check for updates or whatever the heck they do in the background. It's so distracting when I'm trying to sleep since my studio apartment is basically one big room and the glow hits my bed. I've read online that Sony TVs are notorious for this vampire power thing with the USB ports and I am just fed up with having to manually unplug the strip from the back of the TV every single night. It totally defeats the whole purpose of having a clean, automated setup. My budget is probably around $50 to $75 if it actually works like it's supposed to. I dont need all the fancy camera-based color matching stuff because that looks distracting to me anyway, I just want a high-quality 6500k white light that actually turns off when I hit the power button on my remote. Is MediaLight the only way to go? I heard they might have a specific cable or something for Bravia TVs but I dont want to drop that much money if it's just gonna do the same thing. Does anyone here have a Sony setup where the bias lighting actually follows the TV power state perfectly? Im honestly desperate at this point because my eyes are killing me from the contrast but the ghost-lighting in the middle of the night is driving my girlfriend crazy...

so i was thinking maybe we need to make a shared list but then does that go into the cart automatically? i am so confused and i feel really dumb asking this but i cant find a share button anywhere. i looked at the help page but it was all talk about business accounts and stuff we dont have. my logic was that there would just be a button that says share cart or something but i cant find it for the life of me. is there just a simple way to link our accounts so we can see what the other person is buying before we hit the buy now button?? we really need to get this done tonight before the items go out of stock or shipping takes too long...

I need him to look at it before I checkout tonight but I'm hitting a wall. I read online that you can share a cart through some Amazon Fresh workaround but we aren't buying groceries so it doesn't seem to work for regular items. I also saw people suggesting a Wish List but I really don't want to go through the hassle of moving 15 different items to a new list just for a two-minute look. If I copy the URL from my browser it just shows him his own empty cart. Is there some hidden button to just send a link to my specific cart?

I honestly cannot believe how fast my ZV-1 dies it is actually ridiculous. I took it out for a test run yesterday at the local park just to get some footage for a vlog im trying to start and the battery was flashing red after like 35 minutes of 4k recording. I have a trip to Tokyo coming up in 10 days and I am freaking out because I dont want to be tethered to a power bank the whole time while I am walking around Shinjuku. It really ruins the whole point of having a compact camera if I have to carry a giant brick and a cable hanging out of it 24/7.

I spent all morning looking at Amazon and I am just more confused than when I started. Everyone says Wasabi Power is the way to go for cheap spares but then I read a bunch of forum threads saying they swell up after 3 months and get stuck inside the camera body which would basically ruin my $700 camera so that is a hard no. Then I looked at the SmallRig ones because they have the built-in USB-C port which looks super convenient but some people are saying they dont actually hold the full charge or they cause errors on the screen saying 'accessory not supported' or whatever.

The official Sony NP-BX1 batteries are like fifty bucks each where I live and that is just highway robbery for something that lasts less than an hour. I really need a dual charger too because charging inside the camera via micro-usb is slow as hell and I hate leaving the port flap open all night. I am trying to stay under $60 for a couple batteries and a decent charger that wont explode or fry my circuits.

Is there a specific third party brand that is actually reliable for the RX100/ZV-1 series or should I just bite the bullet and buy one single overpriced Sony battery? Does anyone have a charger they actually trust that isnt a total fire hazard?...

I've handled like three registries in the last five years for various friends and family so I thought I was a pro at this but I am actually struggling right now. I'm trying to get things organized for my sister's big 30th birthday bash in October. She lives in Chicago and is super picky about specific kitchen brands and some weird niche decor shops that don't have their own internal registry systems so I definitely need a universal option.

My logic was that a simple browser extension would be the way to go but the ones I've tried lately are so glitchy. I messed around with MyRegistry and it kept failing to pull the item images correctly from these smaller boutique sites which is basically a dealbreaker. Then I looked at Zola but it feels way too wedding-centric and the UI is just cluttered with stuff we don't need for a birthday.

I just want a platform where I can paste a URL and it actually scrapes the data accurately without me having to manually type in the price and description every single time. It shouldn't be this hard to find something that isn't bloated with ads or weird tracking. Does anyone know which one actually has the fastest setup right now?
