If you can swing the $1,900 cost, it delivers some of the best data-driven results in the E-mount ecosystem. Another fantastic option is the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM for ultra-wide to wide-angle needs. It's incredibly sharp, has minimal distortion, and that f/2.8 aperture allows for great low-light performance and subject isolation. The build quality is also second to none - it's built like a tank. Pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

For primes, you can't go wrong with the Sony FE 85mm f/1.8. It's relatively affordable, tack sharp, and that f/1.8 aperture is great for beautiful subject separation and low light use. The rendering is absolutely sublime.
