To add to the point above: definitely snag those deals while they're live, but keep reliability at the front of your mind. Ive been doing this for a long time and seen plenty of gear fail right when you need it most. For a camera as fast as the a9III, you need glass that can actually keep up without falling apart. In my experience, you just cant go wrong with Sigma these days. Their build quality has really stepped up and they're total workhorses. If you want to save some cash but still need something dependable, honestly, just get any of the high-end Tamron lenses. They've become surprisingly rugged lately. I usually wait for the Black Friday bundles myself because the price-to-performance ratio on third-party glass is hard to beat when the sales hit.
