So I'm finally grabbing a PS5 next week after saving up for months and I am so hyped to finally try out the 3D audio everyone keeps talking about!! I've been doing some deep dives into what headset to get but honestly the more I read the more confused I get lol. I saw the official Pulse 3D one is built for it obviously but then half the reviews say it feels cheap and hurts your ears after a while. Then I see people swearing by the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P but I cant tell if the actual 3D sound is any better or if people just like the brand more?

I'm looking for something that hits these points:

Budget is around $150 max cuz I already spent a ton on the console

Needs to be super comfy for 4-5 hour sessions (I have a big head lol)

Good mic for playing Helldivers 2 with my buddies

Really want that sound behind me feeling to actually work

Is the official one actually the best for the proprietary tech or should I go third party for better quality... I want to buy something by Friday so I'm ready to go the second the box arrives.
