What are the must-have accessories for the new PS5 Pro model?

So my husband and I just pre-ordered the new PS5 Pro for our sons birthday next month and I am honestly so stressed out about it. We live in Chicago and the tech shops here are always so crowded and the staff just talks in circles so I thought I would ask here instead. I feel like a total idiot because I didnt realize it doesnt even come with a disc drive? Like how am I supposed to put the games in? I have about $200 left in my budget for accessories but I have no idea what is actually necessary and what is just extra fluff they try to sell you. Do I need a special stand so it doesnt fall over or like those extra memory stick things people talk about online? I saw something about a pro controller too but it costs like $200 on its own which seems insane. I just want to make sure he can actually play it the day he opens it without us having to run back to the store because I really have no clue what I am doing here. Sorry if this is a really basic question but what are the absolute must-haves for this specific pro model so I dont mess this up for him...

Honestly its super annoying that Sony makes you buy everything separate now. You definitely need the Sony Disc Drive for PS5 Pro and Slim if you have physical discs, otherwise it is just a paperweight... It costs about $80. Also the stand is separate now too which is kinda a rip off. Just get the Sony PlayStation 5 Vertical Stand for $30 so it doesnt tip over. Dont bother with the expensive controller tho.

It is honestly pretty disappointing how much extra stuff you have to buy just to make the PS5 Pro work right. Been doing this for years and it never gets less annoying. Since you are on a budget, definitely skip that $200 Edge controller... kids wont even care about the extra buttons anyway.

Storage: Instead of the usual brands, look at the Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD with Heatsink. Some cheaper drives slow down when they get full, but this one stays fast. Unfortunately it is a bit pricey, but worth it to avoid losing save data.

Charging: If you want a charger, the Razer Universal Quick Charging Stand for PS5 is better built than the official one. The Sony dock is not as good as expected because the controllers fall off it too easily.

Stand: Please dont buy the $30 official stand. It is such a blatant cash grab. My console stays horizontal on the shelf and it is perfectly stable without spending an extra dime. Just make sure there is air moving around it so it doesnt overheat. Just make sure you prioritize that disc drive first or he wont be able to play any of his physical games... such a mess.
