What are the best hand grips for a Sony RX100? Sorry if this is dumb but I just got an RX100 VII for my Japan trip next week and it feels so slippery. I'm terrified I'm gonna drop it because it was so expensive. I have no clue what fits or how to even attach them...
In my experience, those stick-on grips can get gummy over time. I usually go for the JJC HG-RX100 Metal Camera Hand Grip because it actually screws into the bottom. It gives you a way more solid handle and doesnt block the battery door, which is a lifesaver when you're out all day. Tbh, it makes the camera feel way more secure in one hand.

The Sony AG-R2 Attachment Grip is basically the standard fix. It uses 3M adhesive to bond an elastomer grip directly to the faceplate. It only adds a few grams of weight. For a more secure mechanical lock, the SmallRig L-Shape Grip for Sony RX100 VII 2467 is better. It screws into the 1/4-20 tripod mount and adds a nice wooden handle piece that makes the VII way easier to hold.
