I have the a7 IV and Ive been trying to make do with primes but I keep missing shots because im fumbling in my bag. I have a trip to the Alps in literally ten days and I need one solid all-around zoom that isnt a total brick. My logic was maybe the 24-105 f4 for the range but then I worry about low light... or do I just get the Sigma 24-70? Ive got about 1200 bucks max and im panicking because I dont want to carry a massive bag. what is the one lens you guys actually keep on your camera?

I'm actually shaking a little bit because Christmas is coming up so fast and I have four kids to buy for and I am completely disorganized this year. I keep buying things when I see them on sale but then I hide them in the attic and totally forget what I have. My budget is $200 per kid but I think I already went over for my oldest daughter and haven't gotten a single thing for my youngest son yet. I was thinking maybe I could use one of those spreadsheet things everyone talks about? Like Excel? But honestly I have no idea how to even start one. Is it just for math or can regular people use it too?

My logic was that I could have a list of their names and then what I bought and the price so I stay on budget but I don't know how to make the boxes do that. I tried to open a blank one and I just stared at it for ten minutes because I didn't know if I should put the names on the left or across the top and then I got scared I'd break something or delete my work by accident. I'm so sorry if this is a dumb question but is there like a template or something for people who aren't good with computers? Or do people just type it out like a normal list? I just really need a way to see everything at once before I go totally broke...

Is there any actual way for multiple people to add items to the same Amazon cart at once without it constantly glitching out? Honestly I am so fed up with this because my two roommates and I are trying to prep for a big housewarming party here in Austin this weekend and it has been a total disaster. We have a $500 budget and a really tight timeline since we need everything by Friday but every time one of us adds something like a pack of plates or some decorations the other person sees an empty cart or items just disappear.

It is driving me insane because we are trying to coordinate and not buy doubles of everything but we keep overwriting each other or getting logged out. I thought sharing one login would be easy but it is clearly not working the way I expected. Has anyone found a workaround for this or is there a specific feature I should be using instead of just a shared login? I really dont want to have to venmo people for ten different small orders and pay for shipping a bunch of times if I dont have to. How do people do this without losing their minds...

Look my PS4 Pro is basically a brick right now because I have like 2GB of space left and I really need to expand it before this weekend starts. I have been doing some reading and honestly I'm more confused than when I started. Everyone says the Samsung T7 is the way to go but then I keep seeing these horror stories about the SanDisk Extreme drives just totally failing and losing all data after a few months... that is literally my nightmare. I also read some tech blog saying that the PS4 Pro usb ports actually bottleneck the super fast drives anyway so is it even worth getting a NVMe based one or should I just get a cheaper SATA one in an enclosure?

I need to make a move on this like today because I have a huge download waiting and I'm tired of deleting games every time I want to play something new. I'm mainly playing stuff like Warzone and Elden Ring so the load times are killing me on the stock internal drive.

Requirements:

Budget: I've got about $100 to spend maybe a little more if it's actually worth it

Capacity: 1TB is the goal

Durability: Needs to be able to stay plugged in 24/7 without overheating or dying

Availability: I'm in Chicago so I need something I can get at a major retailer or quick shipping like Amazon

I've seen some people mention the Crucial X8 too but then some guy on Reddit said his got way too hot during long gaming sessions. Is that a real thing I need to worry about? I just want something that won't brick itself while I'm in the middle of a session. Does anyone have an external SSD they've used for like a year plus on a Pro without it acting up? I'm really trying to avoid buying junk and losing my saves...

I'm specifically looking for something that works in the US since I've got about $300 saved up for a haul and want to make sure I'm actually getting a deal on the Drunk Elephant stuff I use.

I checked out CamelCamelCamel but that's for Amazon and doesn't sync with Sephora. Then I tried Honey, but it feels like it only works for coupons at checkout rather than showing actual price history. We are trying to prep for this huge housewarming party next month and I have a budget of about 500 dollars for everything from string lights to industrial sized bags of chips. Usually I just send links in a group chat but that is a total disaster now because people keep losing the links or buying things on their own and then we have duplicates. I tried the whole Manage Your List thing where you invite others to edit but it is so laggy and half the time it doesnt show who added what or if the item is even still in stock. Is there like a shared cart feature I am missing or a third party extension that actually works for this?

My main requirements are:

need to see who put what in the cart so I can yell at them for going over budget

some way to avoid double ordering

it has to work on mobile because my roommates never open their laptops

needs to be done by the 12th so shipping stays on track

I feel like I am making this harder than it needs to be but the current list sharing UI is just not cutting it for a high volume of items. What are you guys actually using for this...

Does anyone know how to share my Amazon cart using a browser extension because I am seriously losing my mind trying to coordinate this move. Honestly im so fed up with Amazon not having a basic feature like a share button for your shopping cart in 2024. Its like they want it to be as difficult as possible to spend money with them.

Im moving into a new place in Chicago next month and my roommate and I are trying to get all our kitchen and cleaning stuff together but its been a nightmare. We have a strict $600 budget for the initial setup and I spent like three hours yesterday adding stuff to my cart only to realize I cant just send her the list to look over before I hit buy. I tried just sending her a bunch of links via text but that was a total disaster and we ended up with two different sets of pots and pans because she got confused about which ones I actually liked.

I heard there are some chrome extensions that let you just generate a link for your whole cart but I dont want to download something thats gonna steal my credit card info or just not work at all. Has anyone actually used one thats legit and doesnt require my roommate to also install it? Or even if she has to install it, just something that actually syncs the items? Im just so tired of having forty tabs open and constantly checking back and forth between her texts and my amazon app its making my head spin.

Every time I think I found a workaround it ends up being for a different country or it just breaks when I try to login. Does anyone have a specific extension they use for this that actually works??
