Im trying to let my husband see whats in my cart before I buy our gear for a trip to the Smokies next month. We're spending about $500 and hes super picky about brands. I looked into Amazon Household but it looks like thats just for Prime shipping stuff, and I saw a browser extension called Share-A-Cart but I dont really trust random plugins with my login.

Our needs are:

  • must work on the mobile app
  • no sharing my actual password
  • he needs to be able to edit the list too

Is there an easy way to just sync our carts together or am I stuck sending him a million screenshots...

Amazon still doesnt have a native way to sync carts on the app, honestly. Are you guys both using the same phone type? I would suggest being careful with random plugins that want your login. You might want to consider Cart To Link since I use it for sharing lists without the security risk. Does he need to add items from his end too?

@Reply #1 - good point! In my experience, the apps architecture prevents direct cart syncing due to how they handle session tokens. Over the years, Ive found that utilizing a Shared List is the only reliable workaround. It supports multi-user editing and stays mobile-compatible without compromising password security... my current setup relies on this. To streamline things, you can share amazon canada cart to manage the list better. It beats sending 20 screenshots tbh.
