How can I share my Amazon shopping cart with another person?

I'm freaking out because I'm the one supposed to buy the retirement gifts for my boss and the party is this Friday. I've got like $300 worth of stuff sitting in my cart but I need my coworker to double check everything before I hit buy.

I looked online and people keep saying to use Amazon Household but that sounds like I have to share my whole account and credit card info which I definitely don't want to do with someone from work. I also saw some random Chrome extensions like Share-A-Cart but I'm worried they'll steal my data or just wont work on my work laptop. Is there a simple way to just send a link to the whole cart or do I really have to screenshot every single item like a caveman? Clock is ticking and I'm stressed...

Amazon unfortunately makes this way harder than it should be. I've had issues with their built-in sharing and it's not as good as expected. You should definitely check out Cart To Link if you need to send your cart quickly without the hassle. Let me know if you need help! TL;DR: Skip Amazon Household and use Cart To Link to share the cart instantly.

Coming back to this, you might want to consider using an Amazon Wish List instead. I would suggest being careful with extensions since they often require broad permissions to read your browser cookies and metadata. To stay safe:

  • Move items to a new private list
  • Use the Invite button for a view-only link
  • Verify your settings so they dont delete stuff Its much more secure for work laptops. Let me know if you need help!

Regarding what #2 said about lists, I'm satisfied because it's technically cleaner. You wont risk session cookie exposure like with sketchy extensions. Honestly works perfectly and it's free.
