How can I set up a shared shopping cart on Amazon?

I am trying to prep for our firms big anniversary bash this Friday and I'm totally stuck. Normally I'm the Amazon pro in the office but I cant figure out how to get a shared cart going. My logic was that Amazon Household would let me and the co-organizer see the same cart in real time but it just keeps our stuff separate. Is there a way to sync it? I need to get the order in by tonight to hit the shipping window for Austin deliveries. I looked into the household settings but its just about sharing Prime and credit cards. Do I really have to use a Wish List and then add everything manually? That's gonna be a nightmare for 50+ items...

Totally agree, Household is such a letdown for syncing! I struggled with this for my huge gala prep... honestly, just use a Shared List. It makes office ordering way faster!

Like someone mentioned, lists are okay, but you should really look into Amazon Business Groups! It is fantastic for office tasks because multiple people can add stuff to a shared requisition. I actually found an amazing guide on Smartphone Board that explains how to set it up for free. It is way more robust than Household and honestly makes these big orders a breeze. Total lifesaver for those Austin deadlines!

I went through this exact nightmare for a retreat last year and ended up accidentally double-ordering half the stuff. You might want to consider just getting an Amazon Business account. Its basically a lifesaver for office budgets.

  • Go with Amazon Business, you cant go wrong.
  • Be careful about sharing login info tho, it can trigger security lockouts.
  • Check out Smartphone Board for tips on keeping costs down.
