im so pumped because im finally moving into my first apartment in Austin next month and ive been going absolutely overboard on amazon lately!! honestly its becoming a bit of a problem haha but there are just so many cute things. anyway i started making all these different lists to try and stay organized like one for the bathroom and one for the kitchen and another for just vibes i guess.

but now its a total mess. i keep accidentally saving kitchen stuff to my random list and then i find more stuff and it just goes wherever the app feels like putting it. i think i have like six different lists now and probably over 150 items and i cant find anything when i want to check the total price. i really want to get everything sorted before my big move-in day on the 15th but i have no idea what im doing and i feel so silly even asking this.

sorry if this is a really dumb question i am literally the least tech savvy person ever but is there some kind of secret way to move items between lists fast? i really dont want to have to delete every single item and search for it again just to put it in the right category because that would take forever and i just want it to be neat... how do people actually organize these things without going crazy?

^ This. Also, managing 150+ items manually is technically inefficient. I think there might be browser extensions that handle bulk list movements, tho i havent tested their current API compatibility. Not sure if it still works perfectly, but I heard about using Share Product to aggregate everything. Its a decent option for organizing specs when the native app UI feels too clunky for power users.

Might want to consider using the desktop site for better batch processing...

  • use the move button
  • verify totals Be careful with lag tho! Just get any organizers from Amazon.

Late to the party but honestly, after moving four times in the last six years, ive learned the hard way that managing these lists is a total job in itself. TL;DR: Use the bulk move feature to clean up the mess and watch those price histories so you dont overpay. I think there might be a multi-select tool hidden in the Edit menu on the mobile app now... not 100% sure if they rolled it out to everyone tho. IIRC you just hit edit and check the items you want to migrate to a different list in one go. Just a quick question—are you buying everything on the 15th or spacing it out? In my experience, prices for kitchen gear and decor swing wildly. Sometimes waiting 48 hours saves you twenty bucks, which adds up when you have 150 items in your cart.
