Can I move my Amazon cart items to a different user account?

Ive been using Amazon for like 15 years so I usually know my way around the UI but this is driving me nuts. I spent three hours picking out stuff for my new office setup here in Chicago and now I realize I'm logged into my personal account instead of the business one.

My logic was that I could just share the cart or maybe export it as a CSV but I cant find anything like that in the settings. I really dont want to manually search for all 38 items again because I need to get this order in by tonight for Friday delivery. Is there a way to just push the whole cart over to another email or am I just stuck?

Re: "Theres no direct button to transfer a cart...."

  • Honestly, it's pretty disappointing that Amazon hasn't built a better bridge between personal and business profiles after all these years. I went through a similar headache last year setting up a satellite branch for my firm. I had dozens of high-end monitors and ergonomic chairs sitting in my personal cart, only to realize the tax exemptions on my business account wouldn't apply unless I re-added everything from scratch. One thing you really need to be careful about is the inventory status. When I tried the wishlist workaround previously, I actually lost out on a few limited-stock items because by the time I logged out and back in, the available count had dipped. The system doesnt reserve items just because they're in a cart or a list. It is super frustrating when you're on a tight deadline for Friday delivery. Also, watch out for the shipping addresses and verification. If your business account doesnt have the Chicago office address verified yet, it might trigger a fraud alert or delay the shipping. I've had issues where the default settings messed up the delivery speed because the business profile didn't have the Prime Business status fully synced with my location. It's not as seamless as expected. Basically, you're gonna have to be meticulous about cross-referencing those 38 items or you'll end up with personal charges on your corporate card, which is a total nightmare for accounting later... I've learned that lesson the hard way.

Theres no direct button to transfer a cart. I would suggest moving every item into a public Wish List and then emailing that link to yourself. Be careful tho, because business pricing or tax settings might change the final total. You might want to consider double-checking the cart values before hitting buy so you dont mess up the company budget.
